Lucy is a Form Two secondary school student who once struggled to fully understand certain topics during class. Like many learners, she sometimes felt that lessons moved too quickly, leaving her with unanswered questions and little time to process what she had learned. She wanted more explanation, more time to practice, and more confidence in her understanding.
Everything began to change when she started using Teacher Kidevu on the Shule Direct platforms.
At first, Lucy explored the platform out of curiosity. However, it soon became an important part of her daily learning routine. Whenever she did not understand a topic in class, she would revisit it through Teacher Kidevu. The explanations were clear and easy to follow, allowing her to learn at her own pace without fear of asking too many questions.
“Teacher Kidevu ni mwalimu mwingine anayekusaidia ukiachana na mwalimu wako wa darasani,” Lucy shares.
To Lucy, Teacher Kidevu became more than just a digital platform — it became a second teacher outside the classroom. A teacher who is always available. A teacher who allows her to repeat lessons anytime and anywhere. A teacher who builds her confidence step by step as she continues learning through the Shule Direct platforms.
Since using Teacher Kidevu, Lucy has experienced meaningful change.
“Teacher Kidevu huwa ananisaidia kuelewa sana nikiwa nyumbani, na ndio maana nasomaga hata topic za mbele nikisoma notes kama vile Biology,” she explains.
Today, Lucy participates more actively in class discussions. She completes assignments with greater understanding and approaches exams with confidence. Most importantly, she no longer feels left behind when a topic feels challenging.
Her academic performance has improved, but beyond grades, her belief in her own ability has grown stronger.
Lucy’s story demonstrates the power of accessible digital learning support. With the right tools beyond the classroom, learners can strengthen their understanding, build confidence, and take greater ownership of their education.
Teacher Kidevu did not replace her classroom teacher – it reinforced her learning journey.
And that has made all the difference.
